Training

Advanced technology makes room for new posibilities, but the humans are, by far, the most valuable resource. The initiation, perfection and specialization courses made available by SCIENT provide a thorough training in a flexible format.

Internship

The internship programs aim to support young graduates to develop and accumulate real skills in instrumental analysis in various chromatographic and spectrometric techniques.

PhD

We support the PhD students and encourage them and contact the SCIENT Research Center for the preparation of the formalities in order to perform the analyzes / determinations required for their doctoral work.

Training

Through these trainings we aim to transfer theoretical knowledge of instrumental analysis and with effective applicability in the physicochemical testing laboratories’ practices.

Initiation

Structured in modules specific to each instrumental analysis technique, the courses have a variable length of time. These introductory courses aim to familiarize you with the principles of the chosen technique, the way of preparing the samples and operating the software used by the equipment.

Training

Also structured in modules specific to each technique, the training courses aim to bring you solid theoretical and practical skills in instrumental analysis. The training courses are organized for graduates of in-service courses and graduates of higher education institutions; chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering. Depending on the technique chosen for improvement, the courses can be held for a few weeks.

Specialization

Since SCIENT is an accredited RENAR Laboratory, after completion of the specialization modules, graduates will be able to perform complex analyzes and will be familiar with the work and the laboratory procedures according to the requirements of ISO-17025.

Doctoral

We support PhD students and encourage them and contact the SCIENT Research Center for the preparation of the formalities in order to carry out the analyzes / determinations required for their doctoral work.

After completing the enrollment formalities, SCIENT puts – at no cost – at the applicants’s disposal the infrastructure, so that, under the direct guidance / supervision of its specialists, PhD students can perform their own doctoral thesis analyzes themselvs.

Internship

SCIENT Instrumental Analysis Research Center organizes internship programs for graduates of higher education institutions in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, environmental engineering and chemical engineering.

The internship programs aim to support young graduates to develop and accumulate real skills in instrumental analysis in various chromatographic and spectrometric techniques.

At the end of the internship program the participants will obtain a certificate certifying the competences obtained during the internship in the field of instrumental analysis.

.

What participants need to know about internship programs:

  • Specialists in the field will teach you about instrumental analysis techniques, how, when and in what industries / applications they use,,

  • You will be involved in instrumental analysis on various techniques, starting with sample preparation (extraction or mineralization), then sample injection and interpretation of the results.

  • You will participate alongside the team of specialists in the process of validating instrumental analysis methods,

  • You will be involved in all data / evidence recording processes to ensure the traceability of the results of physico-chemical analyzes performed during the training

To qualify for internship programs is needed:

  • Being a graduate of chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, environmental engineering,

  • Being passionate about news in a top field of chemistry,

  • Have a proactive attitude,

  • Being willing to take part in a 10-week full-time internship in which you gain real skills in instrumental analysis and without being paid for your effort,

SCIENT will help you improve your skills in instrumental analysis to successfully integrate into a bidder.
